MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Collaborate with the delivery team to translate business requirements into comprehensive test plans and robust strategies.
- Execute and monitor manual functional and regression tests to verify that our solutions meet performance, usability, and technical standards.
- Identify, document, and drive the resolution of defects.
- Produce and maintain accurate test documentation and reporting while enhancing testing coverage and processes.
- Ensure solutions meet industry and legal standards and promote a culture of quality across the development lifecycle.
CANDIDATE PROFILE
- Computer Science Degree
- 2-4 years of experience as a QA Engineer or similar role within a software company
- Proficiency in software testing principles and methodologies (SDLC & Agile), software architecture and programming concepts
- Familiarity with transactional, high-volume systems
- Experience with CI/CD tools & scripting languages
- Web & mobile testing API testing, SQL and Linux environments
- Knowledge of IT security practices and digital commerce regulations
- Exposure to automated testing tools will be considered a plus
- Experience with issue tracking tools, e.g., Jira is a plus
- Familiarity with version control and build tools such as Git and Maven is a plus
