A growing wealth management firm is looking for a Systems Engineer to join their team in Limassol. The successful candidate will have at least 3 years’ experience in a relevant position, speak both English and Russian, and have experience in building local networks. MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Architecture design, installation, configure, support and maintenance of computer network and network equipment. Optimising network performance and ensuring its security
- Architecture design, installation, configuration and maintenance of servers taking into account virtualisation. Development and configuration of remote access tools. Ensuring security of remote connections and managing access to resources taking into account the principle of "minimum privileges".
- Installation, configure, support and maintenance of Microsoft Server Services and Products: SharePoint, Windows Server, Exchange and so on.
- Organization of employees' workplaces
- Maintenance of computers and office equipment
- Control of IT equipment movement
- Configure, implementation, administration, modernization and performance assurance of the entire 24/7/365 IT infrastructure
- Support and development of IT procedures, knowledge bases, documentation processing of system settings and changes
- Maintenance and development of MS SharePoint based resources
- Development and improvement of IT standards in the Company
- Automation of work processes
- Integration and configure of interfaces between financial accounting systems. Ensuring compatibility and efficient data transfer between modules, as well as designing and implementing a financial data storage system and uploading it to BI systems. Utilising data encryption when necessary.
- Development and implementation of a data backup strategy to ensure that data are available in case of failure. Conducting regular recovery tests to ensure the functioning of backup systems.
- Compliance with security standards in network and server operations. Compliance with regulatory requirements for financial data processing.
CANDIDATE PROFILE
- At least 3 years working experience in a similar position
- The expert knowledge in Windows Server, Active Directory, Group Policy
- Experience with Exchange, SharePoint, Teams
- Understanding the principles of building local networks
- Knowledge of how to build interfaces between accounting systems (e.g., data exchange between accounting modules)
- Experience with file system distribution and file system fault tolerance
- Experience in working with backup mechanisms for servers (hardware and virtual) and individual file systems, as well as individual services and databases to them
- Experience writing scripts (Python)
- Microsoft Certification
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or any related degree
- Fluency in English language at a professional level and fluent Russian
