MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Manage a portfolio of clients while working with a multidisciplinary team on both tax-specific projects and projects with tax components
- Advise clients on the tax implications of their business plans
- Perform tax diagnostic reviews to identify and address uncertain tax positions
- Act as the main contact for clients, fostering and maintaining strong relationships
- Lead and mentor a team of junior staff, supporting their development and exposure to diverse client engagements
- Contribute to the development and sharing of technical knowledge within the team
- Collaborate with Partners and Directors to identify and pursue business growth opportunities
- Stay informed about the evolving business landscape and evaluate its impact on clients
- Coordinate with other service lines as needed to gather information, clarifications, and documentation
CANDIDATE PROFILE
- Bachelor’s Degree and/or relevant Postgraduate/Professional Qualification in Accounting, Tax, Business, Economics or a related field
- A postgraduate degree in Law or the Legal Practice Course (LPC) or the Bar Professional Training Course (BPTC) or other relevant professional qualification would be considered as an advantage
- 4-6 years of work experience with expertise in advising on Cyprus and international tax matters
- Highly motivated individual who can work in a fast paced dynamic environment
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and Greek
- Strong analytical skills and ability to solve complex problems in a collaborative and creative way
- Ability to develop and maintain strong relationships with clients and internally
- Strong business acumen with a keen interest in and understanding of Cyprus and global business issues
