DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Manage tax provision and tax compliance process for the Cyprus entities of the organisation.

Manage and coordinate tax audits.

Analyze and review tax calculation per audited FS and identify possible tax savings opportunities.

Liaise with external auditors for the resolution of tax related matters.

Conduct research on tax laws and regulations, keep up to date with changes and developments in the local tax framework.

Advise CFO on the impact of new tax laws on the group’s companies by identifying and understanding their application and relevance so further action can be taken to proactively address tax matters.

Lead the transfer pricing studies of the group and ensure that all inter-company arrangements conform with the arm’s length principle for Cyprus TP purposes.

Review inter-company agreements with local and foreign related entities to ensure conformity with the arm’s length principle and lead discussions for possible necessary revisions together with the finance teams of the related entities.

Assist the CFO in the tax restructuring process of the whole organisation with the aim of achieving tax efficiencies across the organisation.

Other ad hoc requests that might come from time to time from the CFO.
CANDIDATE PROFILE
-
ACA, ACCA, CPA certification or relevant certification
-
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or related field

At least 3 years of proven experience as a tax manager or similar position

Have a great understanding of Cyprus local tax laws and regulations

Excellent knowledge of tax accounting, tax compliance and all types of tax returns

Good at meeting deadlines and solving problems

Analytical skills with a detail-oriented mindset

Fluency in English is a must

Fluency in Microsoft Excel (formulas, spreadsheet formulation)

Ability to work under pressure

Excellent communication skills
