A company which provides assistance and advice to Gaming companies is searching for a Technical Analyst to join their Authorisations team in Malta. You will be instrumental in reviewing and processing various applications, contributing to the growth and compliance of gaming operators. The ideal candidate will have Diploma in areas related to computer science, information systems, business, finance, or accounting (Level 5 or equivalent). (Willingness to pursue recognized certifications like CISA or equivalent). MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Review technical documentation submitted by gaming operators, evaluating applications for new licenses, and ensuring operational policies, information security, gaming systems, and agreements meet standards.
  • Conducting comprehensive system and compliance audit reports, perform live studio inspections locally, and overseas.
  • Participate in meetings with prospective applicants.
  • Conduct special investigations or other assignments that may be requested from time to time including but not limited to on-site inspections overseas.
  • Ensure the goals and functions are met and that professional standards are maintained at all times.
  • Liaise with other Departments as necessary.
  • Carry out any other duties/tasks as may be instructed from time to time by the management team 
CANDIDATE PROFILE
  • Diploma in areas related to computer science, information systems, business, finance, or accounting (Level 5 or equivalent).
  • Willingness to pursue recognized certifications like CISA or equivalent.
  • Previous experience in information systems and financial auditing is considered an asset, but we also encourage those with a strong interest in the IT industry to apply.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team, manage multiple engagements, and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to identify high-risk areas, presenting your findings and recommendations in a clear and concise manner, both verbally and in writing.
  • Take ownership of your responsibilities, demonstrating motivation, professionalism, and excellent communication skills
