MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILTIES
- Provide hands-on support in the installation, configuration, and regular maintenance of hardware and software systems.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to end-user applications, network connectivity, and IT equipment.
- Offer high-quality technical support to end-users, addressing their day-to-day IT challenges promptly and effectively.
- Administer user accounts and permissions, ensuring compliance with internal security and data protection policies.
- Manage the inventory of IT assets, ensuring equipment is in optimal working condition and properly accounted for.
- Work closely with the HQ technical team to identify, escalate, and resolve complex technical issues.
- Stay current with emerging IT trends, tools, and best practices to provide cutting-edge solutions to the organization’s needs.
- Document all technical procedures, incidents, and resolutions to contribute to the internal knowledge base.
- Participate in IT projects and upgrades to support the organization’s continuous improvement efforts.
CANDIDATE PROFILE
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent hands-on experience).
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in an IT support role, with a focus on end-user support and system administration.
- A solid understanding of computer systems, networking concepts, software applications, and hardware support.
- Proven ability to diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve IT issues in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong customer service orientation with a proactive approach to solving technical problems.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to explain technical issues in simple terms.
- Ability to maintain a professional and friendly demeanor when interacting with staff members and stakeholders.
- Experience with network troubleshooting, server management, and security protocols.
- Ability to work autonomously and as part of a cross-functional team.
- Knowledge of IT asset management and support ticketing systems.
- Flexibility to travel between Limassol and Larnaca offices once a week.
