An innovative Fintech company specializing in the credit lending sector, are working with GRS to recruit a Technical Lead (Senior Developer) for their Limassol offices. The successful candidate will have a minimum of 5 years programming experience, ideally leading a technical team. MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Lead, manage and mentor a team of developers while ensuring that both IT projects and day to day operations meet organisational and customer expectations.
  • Undertake development tasks and participates in the agile sprints.
  • Participate in code reviews.
  • Software architecture.
  • Identify emerging technologies to prepare the platform to support future business needs.
  • Design, establish and maintain a cloud infrastructure on AWS.
  • Identify customer technology needs and resolves problems.
  • Set personal targets for team members and monitors performance.
  • Provide regular feedback to team members and works with them on how to act upon it.
  • Recognise development needs, coach and develop team members as necessary.
  • Foster DevOps best practises such as automated testing, CI/CD.
CANDIDATE PROFILE
  • BSc /MSc in Computer Science, Engineering or any other relevant degree
  • Previous experience of leading technical teams is considered an advantage.
  • 5-8 years of programming experience.
  • Proven understanding and knowledge of the following: Web technologies such as HTTP, REST APIs.
  • Understanding how the latest frontend stack technologies work such as React, VueJS.
  • Experience in either JAVA, .NET, Python, PHP or GoLang.
  • Unix / Linux Operating Systems.
  • Database experience such as MySQL, Postgres etc.
  • Experience working with Git.
  • Organisation, problem solving and critical thinking skills.
  • Strong interpersonal and teamworking skills.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.
