Our client, a renowned construction company operating across Europe, is seeking a talented Water Mechanical Engineer to join their growing Water & Wastewater division. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the delivery of end-to-end solutions — from design through to commissioning for key clients. Please note that this role is part of an international project, and the successful candidate will be required to relocate to Ireland for the duration of the assignment. A relocation package, including support with initial accommodation, may be available and will be discussed further during the interview process.
MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES  
  • Developing clear, accurate designs and ensuring consistency of data throughout the project lifecycle
  • Delivering work in line with project programmes, milestones, and allocated budgets
  • Ensuring all equipment and systems meet specified performance and client requirements
  • Producing high-quality engineering outputs that meet internal and client expectations
  • Supporting the successful delivery of projects through effective collaboration with project teams
  •  Building and maintaining positive client relationships through high standards of delivery
CANDIDATE PROFILE
  • A BTEC, HNC, or equivalent qualification in Mechanical Engineering
  • Experience using Autodesk 2D and 3D CAD software
  • The ability to produce conceptual layouts and visualisations at proposal stage
  • Experience developing detailed pipework designs and mechanical support systems
  • A flexible approach, with the ability to adapt designs to evolving project requirements
  • Experience supporting projects from concept through to installation and commissioning
  • Knowledge of relevant safety legislation and design standards
  • A full driving licence and willingness to travel as required
  • Strong teamwork skills, with the ability to work independently when needed
