On behalf of our client an international company with headquarters in London, GRS are seeking to recruit a Yacht Executive Underwriter for their newly established offices in Limassol. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing underwriting services to the Syndicate in respect of assigned work and have previous experience within Yacht industry. MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

To promote the relationship between the Club and potential and existing Members for which the Syndicate is responsible.

To handle all underwriting matters within assigned areas as directed in accordance with company procedures.

To identify the need for loss prevention activity.

To delegate appropriate work to Syndicate Assistants and assist in the development of their capabilities to effectively maximise their potential.

To contribute to the continuous development and improvement of Company procedures and systems.

To carry out any other duties that are within the scope of personal skills and abilities whenever reasonably instructed.

To attend appropriate training and to develop relevant knowledge and skills.
CANDIDATE PROFILE

Previous experience in underwriting within a relevant industry

Industry knowledge

University degree/Qualifications

Fluency in English plus any other language would be beneficial

Based in Cyprus and eligible to work in the EU
