Our client is a leading distributor of advanced Marine and Power Generation solutions, including Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS), in Cyprus and surrounding markets. They provide innovative technology portfolios that deliver reliability, efficiency, and renewable integration across marine propulsion, power generation, and energy storage. The Area Sales Manager will drive revenue growth in Cyprus across Marine, Power Generation, and BESS solutions, while exploring early-stage opportunities in the Oil & Gas sector. The role is responsible for both sales’ execution and strategic market development.
MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Identify and engage stakeholders, manage tenders/RFQs, and negotiate commercial terms.

Position the company’s value proposition, delivering techno-commercial solutions with Applications/Engineering support.

Build and maintain a qualified sales pipeline, including shipyards, fleet owners, EPCs, IPPs, utilities, and large C&I customers.

Develop and manage agreements, joint pursuit plans, and forecasting processes.

Track newbuild/retrofit cycles, classification requirements, and aftersales opportunities.

Identify operators, contractors, and service niches aligned with capabilities; maintain a prioritized pursuit list.

Ensure CRM accuracy, maintain rolling 90/180-day forecasts, and participate in monthly win-loss reviews.

Represent the company at industry events and deliver customer presentations and technical briefings.
CANDIDATE PROFILE

Engineering degree (Electrical, Mechanical, Marine, Power Systems or equivalent); MBA is a plus.

5–8+ years of technical/solutions sales experience in marine propulsion, power generation, microgrids/BESS, or heavy-industry solutions, with proven multi-stakeholder project closings.

Experienced in C-suite and engineering discussions, tendering, and EPC/partner orchestration.

Structured, data-driven, collaborative approach to pipeline management.

Fluent English: Greek strongly preferred.
