An Accounting and Audit Firm that are part of a wider group are working with GRS to recruit an Assistant Compliance Officer in Limassol. The successful candidate will have a minimum of 2-years’ experience in a compliance role and have a relevant compliance qualification. MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Report directly to the Compliance Officer

Assist with the day-to-day compliance operations in line with regulatory and legal requirements and the company’s policies and procedures

Performing client due diligence work and risk assessments

Assisting in the preparation of responses for all requests for KYC and due diligence documentation

Assist with the drafting and maintenance of compliance reports
-
Research, identify and report on a wide variety of compliance related matters due to the introduction of new legislation or best practices
CANDIDATE PROFILE
-
High level of integrity, confidentiality, dependability, and professionalism
-
At least 2 years of AML Regulatory & AML Compliance experience with a firm regulated by ICPAC, the CBA or CYSEC Possession of relevant qualifications such as ACAMS will be considered as an advantage

Experience working with AML Software tools such as EBOS will be considered as an advantage

Basic knowledge of EU AML Directives, Cyprus AML Legislation and Professional Guidelines on Anti-Money Laundering and Terrorist Financing as well as a basic understanding of the professional services, regulatory and compliance environment

Outstanding organisational and multitasking abilities

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Fluent in written and spoken English and Greek.

Computer literate
