An Accounting and Audit Firm that are part of a wider group are working with GRS to recruit an Assistant Compliance Officer in Limassol. The successful candidate will have a minimum of 2-years’ experience in a compliance role and have a relevant compliance qualification. MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Report directly to the Compliance Officer
  • Assist with the day-to-day compliance operations in line with regulatory and legal requirements and the company’s policies and procedures
  • Performing client due diligence work and risk assessments
  • Assisting in the preparation of responses for all requests for KYC and due diligence documentation
  • Assist with the drafting and maintenance of compliance reports
  • Research, identify and report on a wide variety of compliance related matters due to the introduction of new legislation or best practices 
CANDIDATE PROFILE
  • High level of integrity, confidentiality, dependability, and professionalism
  • At least 2 years of AML Regulatory & AML Compliance experience with a firm regulated by ICPAC, the CBA or CYSEC Possession of relevant qualifications such as ACAMS will be considered as an advantage
  • Experience working with AML Software tools such as EBOS will be considered as an advantage
  • Basic knowledge of EU AML Directives, Cyprus AML Legislation and Professional Guidelines on Anti-Money Laundering and Terrorist Financing as well as a basic understanding of the professional services, regulatory and compliance environment
  • Outstanding organisational and multitasking abilities
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Fluent in written and spoken English and Greek.
  • Computer literate
