Our client is one of the largest independent financial services groups headquartered in the Channel Islands with offices in Malta and globally. The Group provides global professional administration services across Private Wealth & Corporate and Pensions. A great opportunity has now arisen for someone vibrant and ambitious to join their growing team in Malta responsible for assisting with all aspects of our pension administration business and the associated retirement schemes and retirement fund. This is a full-time, permanent position working for a cross-border specialist pension service provider in Malta. The role would be perfect for anyone with some administration skills who wish to start their career in a professional role with excellent career prospects. MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • The establishment and transfer of personal pension and occupational schemes
  • Carrying out new business procedures for client take-on, including system set-up
  • Liaising with existing pension providers and independent financial advisors in relation to pension transfers
  • Preparation of annual member statements
 
CANDIDATE PROFILE
  • You’ll be fluent in written and spoken English (Maltese is an advantage, not essential)
  • educated to ‘A’ level standard, and able to work on your own initiative and within a small team.
  • Excellent attention to detail and the ability to work to strict deadlines are also required.
  • Work on their own or as part of a team and maintain confidentiality.
  • Confident with the ability to ask questions.
  • Ability to work on projects.
  • Ability to prioritize work and to deliver to given deadlines.
  • Aptitude for IT systems especially Word and Excel.
