Our client who aids and advise to Gaming companies is searching for an Authorisations Officer to join their team in Malta. You will assist the Authorisations Department in the processing of all applications, issuing of approvals and in keeping information on all licensee up to date. The ideal candidate will hold a recognized degree, be IT literate and, ideally have experience within the Gaming industry. MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Conduct qualitative review of applications to ensure that companies have submitted the required documentation, applications are complete, and the respective fees have been paid

Review any due diligence documents and following up with Team for relevant vetting, in respect of new applications, share and license transfer requests

Maintain information on all licensees up to date on the systems and databases

Process and issue approvals for Key Persons and other Certificates

Draft and issue Authorisations and renewals of such Authorisations granted

Co-ordinate with Licensees and follow up on any license conditions

Review and draft approvals for any other additional changes, such as changes within corporate entities, changes within the corporate structure, changes in directors, key persons, games and/or game providers, register/operating address and other company statutory changes

Participate in meetings and/or calls with prospective applicants and licensees and handle of general queries received via e-mail or telephone

Assist in the development/formulation of; and/or maintaining of processes/policies to achieve the objectives of the Department as may be communicated from time to time

Attend training, conferences and fora as required
CANDIDATE PROFILE
- Diploma (MQF Level 5) in Business, Management, Finance, Criminology or equivalent;.
- Work experience in reviewing Corporate Structures and/or KYC checks would be considered an asset
- Knowledge in Accounting practice would also be considered an asset;
- Thinks analytically, is highly motivated and with good communication and organisational skills;
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team, manage multiple engagements, and thrive in a fast-paced environment;
- Ability to identify high-risk areas, presenting your findings and recommendations in a clear and concise manner, both verbally and in writing;
- Take ownership of your responsibilities, demonstrating motivation, professionalism, and excellent communication skills.
