GRS Recruitment is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Automation Engineer to join our client’s team and support the development, maintenance, and optimization of industrial automation systems in Limassol. The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of PLC programming, control systems, sensors, and HMI development, with hands-on experience in Siemens Simatic PCS7 and TIA Portal. MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILTIES
- Implement new equipment to the existing process
- Amend any logic needed in case of production requirements on the existing software
- Identify and resolve any issues that arise with the automations systems such as sensors, actuators, analysers or control software
- Write, test and debug programs for controllers and interfaces with other subsystems
- Writing and debugging PLC code and HMI using Siemens Simatic PCS7
- Writing and debugging PLC code and HMI systems using Siemens TIA Portal
- Prepare production and process reports the existing reporting system
CANDIDATE PROFILE
- Bachelor/ Master Degree of Electrical Engineering/ Mechatronics Engineering or relevant with specialization in Software Programming
- Control systems/ Sensors knowledge
- Siemens PLC programming knowledge
- Knowledge of any other programming language will be an advantage
- Fluency in Greek and English, both written and verbal
