GRS are working with one of Malta’s leading suppliers of new & used vehicles, warehouse equipment, industrial machinery and special purpose vehicles and currently recruiting an Automotive Warranty Administrator to join their growing team. Our client operates a client-friendly vehicle rental and leasing service which supplies private, commercial vehicles and industrial machinery employing over 60 personnel. If you feel you have the necessary skills and experience, send your CV for this Malta-based Automotive Warranty Administrator role.
  • Processes all warranty paperwork to ensure proper documentation.
  • Verifies criteria required by factory or distributor.
  • Reconciles all warranty receivables with payments through the appropriate accounting schedule.
  • Posts credits on computer.
  • Resubmit all rejected claims promptly or receive authorization to write them off.
  • Follows up on payment of outstanding claims.
  • Tracks warranty parts by tagging with the repair order number, date of replacement, and date on which part may be disposed of.
  • Arranges for parts to be shipped to the factory or distributor or to be scrapped.
  • Files and maintains all service records as required by the warrantor.
  • Keeps informed of all factory recalls and bulletins.
  • Assists with body shop warranty claims as needed.
  • Assists with the cashier and telephone duties as needed.
  • Maintains a professional appearance and a neat work area.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
  • At least 1-year accounting-based experience or equivalent qualification
  • Well organised and strong problem-solving skills 
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English (Maltese a bonus)
  • Flexible with work schedule, to meet the needs of the business
  • Experience working in a similar environment will be considered an asset, however training will be provided
  • Attention to detail and meticulous admin abilities
  • High School Diploma or Equivalent
