GRS are working in partnership with a leading international bank who are seeking to recruit a Back Office / Operations Officer to join their growing team in Limassol. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the smooth and efficient running of daily banking operations, including transaction processing, reconciliations, FX deals, and SWIFT payments. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Process daily banking transactions including payments, transfers, deposits, withdrawals, and remittances.
  • Reconcile nostro and internal accounts to maintain accuracy.
  • Generate FX deals and interbank placements.
  • Prepare and manage manual outgoing SWIFT messages and correspondence with banks.
  • Monitor money flows across all correspondent accounts.
  • Update and produce daily foreign currency rates within the banking system.
  • Open and renew customer fixed deposits, maintaining registry records.
  • Manage filing, registries, and outgoing mail.
CANDIDATE PROFILE
  • University degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field.
  • 2–4 years’ experience in banking operations / back-office functions.
  • Fully fluent in both Greek & English.
  • Strong knowledge of core banking systems and SWIFT.
  • Excellent MS Excel skills with strong reporting ability.
  • Familiarity with AML/KYC requirements and banking regulations.
  • Highly detail-oriented with strong analytical and organisational skills.
SALARY AND BENEFITS
  • €30,800 - €33,600 Gross Per Annum
  • Salary will be determined based on experience, qualifications, and skills. The advertised salary range is indicative, any offer will reflect the successful candidate’s suitability.
  • Competitive monthly salary in the range with 14 salaries annually.
  • Opportunity to work in a professional, international banking environment.
  • Working hours, Monday to Thursday: 08:00 – 15:30 & Friday: 08:00 – 15:00.
