GRS Recruitment are seeking a detail-oriented Ukrainian-speaking Business Analyst to join our client’s dynamic e-commerce team, with offices in Ukraine and Cyprus (Paphos). In this role, you will play a key part in analyzing business processes, identifying opportunities for improvement, and driving data-informed decisions that enhance customer experience and operational efficiency. You’ll collaborate closely with cross-functional teams across both locations to translate business needs into actionable insights, helping us grow and optimize our online presence in a fast-paced international environment.
MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Gather and refine requirements from business and technical teams.
- Create documentation: business requirements, technical specifications, and integration documentation/specifications.
- Design process logic in the form of diagrams (UML).
- Collaborate with developers, QA engineers, designers, and stakeholders throughout all stages of development.
- Optimize processes based on feedback and data analysis.
CANDIDATE EXPERIENCE
- 3+ years of experience as a Business or System Analyst in an IT team.
- Strong ability to analyze, model, and describe business processes using UML diagrams and BPMN notation.
- Practical experience in preparing business requirements, specifications, and technical documentation (Acceptance Criteria, User Stories, Use Cases, Activity and Component Diagrams)
- Experience in preparing technical documentation: API contracts (OpenAPI/Swagger), event schemas (Kafka, Schema Registry, Avro), integration specs, data flow and system diagrams, and non-functional requirements.
- Confident communication skills with business stakeholders, technical leads, and developers to align on solutions.
- Solid knowledge of SQL (PostgreSQL/MS SQL) and NoSQL (MongoDB) for data model design.
- Fluency in Ukrainian or Russian and English, written and verbal.
- Experience in e-commerce or development of OMS / CRM / ERP systems is nice to have
- Familiarity with Postman, REST API, and JSON is nice to have
- Experience in designing integrations with payment systems, delivery services, etc., is nice to have
- Hands-on experience with analytics and data visualization tools (Elasticsearch, Kibana, Grafana, Kafka) is a plus
- Skills in visualization tools (Figma, MIRO, or others) for creating clear and informative materials is a plus
- Understanding of Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban) is a plus
- Experience using AI tools for analytics and documentation is a plus
