A global accounting & advisory firm is searching for a Finance Analyst to join their advisory team in Malta. You will join their Finance and Deals team which provides advice to clients on corporate finance, transaction services and valuation and other related services. The ideal candidate will be educated to MQF Level 6 qualification in Accountancy or in a similar area or be in the process of obtaining Masters in Accounting or the ACCA qualification or equivalent. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Conduct research to understand the client's business, operating sector, and key stakeholders;

Assist in the strategic analysis of financial data;

Support financial and business modelling activities;

Conduct market research;

Provide support on financial transactions, including financial due diligence, mergers, and acquisitions;

Assist with advisory services related to financing, capital expansion, EU funding applications, business plans, financial modelling, financial analysis, valuations, and capital markets transactions.
CANDIDATE PROFILE
-
Possess an MQF Level 6 qualification in Accountancy or in a similar area;

In the process of obtaining Masters in Accounting or the ACCA qualification or equivalent;

Experience in a similar role is considered as an asset;

Ability to analyse and interpret Financial data;

Have critical thinking and problem-solving skills;

Have good briefing, report writing & presentation skills;

Open to learn and to be exposed to the various streams of business, financial and risk advisory;
