Our client, based in Limassol is building the next generation of maritime digital products on a unified, cloud-native, and composable platform bringing aviation-grade technology, modern engineering practices, and forward-thinking product design into an industry ready for transformation. They are are looking for a Business Analyst to be based in Limassol who wants to do more than document requirements. This role sits at the heart of transformation connecting business vision, product strategy, platform capabilities, and delivery execution to ensure meaningful outcomes are achieved. If you enjoy turning complexity into clarity, collaborating across disciplines, and helping teams deliver solutions that genuinely create value, this role offers the opportunity to make a tangible impact. You will work closely with Product Owners, Product Managers, Architects, Engineers, and Delivery teams to ensure business needs are deeply understood, clearly structured, and translated into solutions that solve real operational challenges. Your work will directly influence what gets built, how it gets built, and why it matters.
 
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Partner with stakeholders, domain experts, and operational teams to understand goals, challenges, and opportunities across maritime operations and digital processes.
  • Frame business problems in ways that enable value-driven decision-making.
  • Define clear business requirements, outcomes, and success measures aligned to transformation objectives.
  • Support prioritisation by helping leadership understand impact, dependencies, and trade-offs.
  • Work closely with Product Owners to refine epics, features, and user stories with clear intent and acceptance criteria.
  • Align analysis with product strategy and roadmap direction alongside Product Managers.
  • Collaborate with Project Managers to ensure requirements support predictable and integrated delivery.
  • Act as a bridge between business, product, and engineering — reducing ambiguity and rework.
  • Translate complex needs into structured artefacts such as user stories, use cases, process models, and functional/non-functional requirements.
  • Ensure requirements are complete, testable, and aligned with platform and architectural standards.
  • Maintain traceability from business objectives through to delivered outcomes.
  • Prepare delivery teams with well-refined, ready-to-build backlog items.
  • Analyse and model current and future business processes to uncover efficiencies and digital opportunities.
  • Contribute to shared data and domain understanding across teams.
  • Help ensure business logic is consistently expressed across products and services within a composable platform approach.
  • Support teams during implementation by clarifying requirements and validating shared understanding.
  • Participate in demos, reviews, and acceptance activities.
  • Work with QA and stakeholders to ensure delivered solutions meet intended business outcomes.
  • Help evolve analysis practices, standards, and ways of working.
  • Identify recurring challenges and propose practical improvements.
  • Promote clarity, shared language, and evidence-based decision-making across teams.
CANDIDATE PROFILE
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 3–6 years’ experience as a Business Analyst in digital, software, or platform environments.
  • Experience working within Agile or product-centric delivery models.
  • Strong skills in requirements elicitation, user story definition, and process modelling.
  • Familiarity with BPMN, use cases, process mapping, or value stream analysis.
  • Ability to think beyond features and focus on business outcomes and value.
  • Comfortable collaborating with engineers and architects, with solid technical literacy.
  • Exposure to SaaS platforms, cloud-native architectures, or low-code environments is a plus.
  • Strong understanding of Agile, Scrum, and Kanban practices.
  • Excellent analytical and communication skills.
  • Structured, detail-oriented thinker with strong systems awareness.
  • Confident managing multiple stakeholders and evolving priorities.
  • High ownership mindset and accountability.
  • Comfortable navigating ambiguity and guiding teams toward clarity.
