On behalf of our client, an international consulting and M&A advisory firm specialising in regulated industries including fintech, payments, gaming, online trading and digital assets, we are seeking to recruit a commercially driven Business Development Manager to join their growing Payments Department. Our client operates across multiple jurisdictions, supporting businesses with licensing, corporate structuring, M&A advisory and access to regulated payment solutions. Through an established global network, the firm connects clients with licensed payment providers, creating strategic, long-term commercial partnerships. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving business development and sales growth within the Payments division. The primary objective is to increase new client engagement in the company’s payments referral activity, expanding the active client base and generating sustainable revenue streams. This is a highly target-driven role requiring proactive outreach, strong relationship-building capabilities and a deep understanding of the payments and online ecosystem.
MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Identify, approach and onboard new clients across fintech, online trading, gaming and related sectors.

Develop and strengthen strategic relationships with licensed payment providers to expand service capabilities and commercial opportunities.

Generate leads through direct outreach, networking and market engagement.

Represent the organisation at industry conferences, exhibitions and networking events internationally.

Contribute to departmental revenue targets and overall commercial strategy.
CANDIDATE PROFILE

Proven experience in B2B Sales or Business Development within the Payments industry.

Demonstrated ability to generate new business and close commercial agreements.

Strong negotiation, communication and stakeholder management skills.

Results-oriented, self-motivated and commercially focused.

Solid knowledge of the online industry and fintech sector is essential.

Fluency in English is required; additional languages will be considered an advantage.
