Our client, a leading name in the Travel & Tourism industry, is seeking a dedicated and experienced Channel Distribution Manager to join their team in Nicosia. MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBITLIES
  • Develop and execute a multi-channel distribution strategy to maximize occupancy, revenue, and profitability.
  • Manage and optimize all distribution channels within TourPlan, SynXis, and HyperGuest (setup, mapping, rate plans, inventory management, availability rules, distribution rules, and reporting).
  • Maintain up-to-date product content, pricing, terms, and promotions across TourPlan, SynXis, HyperGuest, and partner portals; ensure consistency and accuracy across platforms.
  • Build and nurture strong relationships with channel partners and conduct regular performance reviews
  • Monitor channel performance metrics (wholesalers & DMC partners) and implement optimization tactics (pricing, promotions, packaging, lead times, minimum stays, parity).
  • Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, Operations, and Product teams to develop channel-specific campaigns and promotions.
  • Lead channel onboarding for new partners: contract setup, rate integrity, distribution rules and system integrations.
  • Handle rate parity, contract compliance, and regular audits; resolve discrepancies promptly.
  • Forecast demand, monitor market trends, and adapt distribution plans to seasonal peaks and event-driven surges.
  • Prepare regular reports on channel performance.
  • Ensure data hygiene and governance within TourPlan, SynXis, HyperGuest, and related systems; drive process improvements for efficiency and accuracy.
  • Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and technology advancements in channel distribution and the TourPlan ecosystem.
  • Manage implementation of new features or modules in TourPlan as needed.
CANDIDATE PROFILE
  • Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality, Business, Tourism, Marketing, or related field (or equivalent practical experience).
  • 5+ years of hands-on experience in channel distribution management within a DMC, hotel company, or travel tech environment.
  • Extensive hands-on experience with TourPlan, SynXis, and HyperGuest (inventory management, rate loading, availability rules, channel mapping, reporting). Certification or demonstrable proficiency highly preferred.
  • Strong understanding of distribution channels and best practices in channel strategy.
  • Demonstrated success in partner relationship management, onboarding, and performance optimization.
  • Solid analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data, generate insights, and translate them into actionable plans.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills; fluency in English proficiency required (written and spoken).
  • Project management mindset with the ability to manage multiple priorities, deadlines, and cross-functional collaboration.
  • Detail-oriented, with a focus on data accuracy and process improvement
  • Experience with additional distribution systems or channel managers
  • Experience with revenue management concepts (rate parity, dynamic pricing, yield management).
