On behalf of our client, a well-established and regulated Electronic Money Institution (EMI) licensed by the Central Bank of Cyprus, GRS Recruitment is seeking a Client Onboarding Specialist to join their expanding team in Nicosia. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced onboarding professional to join a forward-thinking fintech company offering innovative digital payment solutions. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the complete onboarding journey for new clients, ensuring a seamless and compliant process from initial contact through to full integration. This role plays a vital part in establishing strong, long-term client relationships and ensuring the highest standards of service and regulatory compliance.
MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Manage the end-to-end onboarding process, from initial communication to account activation.

Ensure all documentation and due diligence meet internal policies and regulatory standards (KYC, AML, etc.).

Act as the primary point of contact for new clients, providing guidance and resolving queries during the onboarding phase.

Collaborate closely with Compliance, Customer Support, and Technical teams to ensure efficient and accurate client onboarding.

Maintain accurate and up-to-date client information and onboarding status in the CRM system.

Continuously assess and refine onboarding processes to improve efficiency and client satisfaction.
CANDIDATE PROFILE

Minimum of 2 years’ experience in client onboarding within the banking, payments, or financial services industry.

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, or a related discipline.

Solid understanding of regulatory frameworks and compliance requirements.

Proficiency with CRM systems and onboarding tools (e.g., Regtek, Sumsub, Lexis Nexis) is highly desirable.

Excellent communication skills in English; Greek will be considered an advantage.

Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple priorities.
