On behalf of our client a well-established Forex company based in Limassol, is seeking to recruit a Compliance Assistant. The successful candidate must have experience in a Compliance role and needs to be up to date with CySEC rules and regulations. This is an amazing opportunity for someone who is looking to grow and develop further within the Compliance field.
 
MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Reports directly to Head of Compliance
  • Monitoring and assessing the level of compliance risk the Company faces and drafting written reports
  • Assisting with the preparation and submission information/reports to Regulators
  • Assisting with reports for senior management
  • Updates Company’s organisational chart to reflect actual reporting lines and Company’s staff members and making relevant notifications to CySEC
  • Receiving and following up Client complaints or grievances and filing these complaints or grievances
  • General Compliance and Administration Support (filing, responding to emails, etc.)
  • Contribute to the Compliance Monitoring Program
  • Communicate effectively with other departments (e.g. Sales, Marketing, Back Office) on daily basis
  • Carries out any further duties assigned by their line manager
CANDIDATE PROFILE
  • Degree in Law, Economics, Finance or any other relevant field
  • At least  experience in Compliance roles within FX or Crypto Industry 
  • Fluent in English, both oral and written
  • Knowledge of other languages will be considered as an advantage
  • Computer literacy with good working knowledge of Microsoft Office package, with sound knowledge of MS Excel
  • CySEC Advance Certificate and/or CySEC AML Certificate holder – an advantage
  • Attention to detail and ability to meet tight deadlines
  • Excellent research skills
  • Experience in working under pressure and shifting priorities
  • Positive and can-do attitude, highly committed personality.
