A well-established global bank is working in partnership with GRS to recruit a Regulatory Compliance Officer to join their growing Limassol team. The successful candidate will have a minimum of 3-5 years previous experience in a similar role, with fluency in both Greek and English. MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Follow up on circulars and directives issued by the Central Bank of Cyprus.

Follow up on circulars and laws from other regulatory parties related to the business of the bank.

Drafting and amending policies and procedures that fully reflect the local regulatory requirements.

Conduct periodical tests on the level of compliance of the branch.

Assist the DPO in GDPR matters.

Review credit studies to ensure compliance with local regulations.

Update the branch’s control book and perform gap analysis with the regulations with the assistance of Head Office.

Ensure new products of the branch are covering the regulatory requirements.
CANDIDATE PROFILE

Ideally a university graduate of Law, however graduates of Banking & Finance will also be considered.

Fully fluent in both Greek and English.

A minimum of 3-5 years’ previous experience in Compliance, Risk, Legal or Internal Audit within the Banking or Financial Services sector.

Excellent time planning, organizational, communicational and multi-tasking skills.
