MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Assist in monitoring and ensuring the firm's compliance with CySEC regulations, MiFID II, AML directives, and other applicable laws.

Support the preparation and submission of regulatory reports to CySEC and other authorities.

Assist in the development, implementation, and periodic review of the firm's compliance policies and procedures.

Assist in the day-to-day functions of the department.

Assist in customer due diligence (CDD) and ongoing monitoring of transactions to detect suspicious activities.

Keep AML/Compliance internal database, clients’ and internal Company’s records up to date.

Assist in the compliance monitoring of the organization’s activities.

Support in preparing reports on compliance findings and recommendations for improvements.

Assist in the identification and reporting of suspicious transactions to the Money Laundering Compliance Officer (MLCO).

Participate in the organization of training sessions for staff on compliance and AML requirements.

Stay updated on regulatory developments and ensure knowledge sharing within the team.

Liaise with other departments to provide guidance on compliance matters.

Any other duty assigned from the Head of the Department in relation to the above.
CANDIDATE PROFILE
- Bachelor’s degree in Law, Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field.

Professional qualifications (e.g., CySEC Advanced Certificate, AML certifications) are considered an advantage.

At least 1-2 years of experience in a compliance role within a regulated investment firm.

Strong understanding of CySEC regulations and MiFID II framework.

Attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.

Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion.

Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.

Excellent communication skills in English (written and verbal).
