Our client, a boutique Corporate Service and Trust provider in Malta, now has an opportunity for an ambitious Compliance Executive to join their diverse and friendly team in Malta. MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Assist the Compliance Department in developing, implementing, revise and updating of all forms, manuals, policies, procedures, templates etc (including AML procedures)
  • Assist with the implementation of the Group’s compliance monitoring program
  • Liaise with all other departments within the Group on compliance, including anti-money laundering and financing of terrorism, measures etc
  • Assist with the co-ordination of any regulatory audit, inspection, or visits form 3rd party authorities
  • Assist with periodically review of customer files
  • Reporting regularly to the Group’s MLRO on all matters relating or pertaining to compliance including anti-money laundering and financing of terrorism measures
  • Collecting, collating, maintaining and regularly updating all data required to complete annual statutory filings in terms of licence requirements (REQ, ACR, etc.)
  • Maintaining and regularly updating refused clients list, sanctions list, etc
  • Challenging existing practices and procedures and making recommendations to management in accordance with industry best practices;
  • Driving and promoting a culture of compliance within the Group.
CANDIDATE PROFILE
  • At least 2 years’ experience in similar roles within a CSP
  • If you have had experience with Yachting it will be considered an advantage, but, not essential.
  • A good understanding of the TCSP industry
  • Excellent prioritizing skills, ability to multi-task and work under pressure;
  • Detail-oriented and an analytical mindset
