GRS Recruitment are seeking a Compliance Officer to join our client’s growing team in Limassol. This role is key to supporting the legal and compliance function and ensuring that this company’s gambling operations remain fully aligned with all applicable laws and regulatory standards. The successful candidate will assist in developing, implementing, and monitoring compliance policies, conducting legal research, and supporting the continuous improvement of the company’s compliance framework. This position offers a valuable opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a regulated international industry while working alongside experienced professionals.
MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Support the development and implementation of compliance policies, procedures, and controls.
  • Conduct legal research and analysis on gambling legislation, regulations, and industry standards.
  • Assist in monitoring regulatory requirements to ensure ongoing compliance across all operations.
  • Prepare and maintain compliance documentation, reports, and registers.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to promote regulatory awareness and best practices.
  • Contribute to the creation of training materials and compliance communications.
  • Maintain and update internal databases and documentation repositories.
CANDIDATE PROFILE
  • Foundational understanding of gambling laws and regulations.
  • Strong research, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills.
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
  • Previous experience in a legal or compliance role, ideally within the gambling or financial services sector, is advantageous but not required.
  • Knowledge of data protection and privacy laws relevant to remote gambling operations.
  • Bachelor’s degree in law or a related discipline.
