An exciting opportunity has arisen for a fully qualified Corporate Lawyer to join a global Accounting & Advisory Firm in Malta. The successful candidate will join the corporate division of the company and handle a portfolio of services whilst keeping good relations with clients. For this role we GRS are seeking a warranted Lawyer with proven experience within the corporate industry. MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Assisting and supporting a team of professionals, from different backgrounds, on corporate transactions
  • Vetting, drafting, negotiating and advising on legal instruments
  • Assist in the planning and implementation of corporate restructurings
  • Assisting with compliance issues emanating from the ongoing supervision processes
  • Reviewing commercial agreements and corporate documents
  • Maintaining the good corporate governance of client portfolio
  • Providing legal advice to Clients.
  • Formulation of solutions to client issues
  • Research into specific areas of law
  • Drafting and preparing written client deliverables
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams for projects
  • Contributing to articles and content on corporate and commercial law and related areas
CANDIDATE PROFILE
  • Hold a University Degree in Law
  • Possess a warrant to practice low in Malta
  • Proven experience in the corporate industry of 1- 2 years
  • Proficient and fluent in both written and verbal English, with additional languages being considered an asset
  • Organised and able to perform demanding transactions
  • Willing to work effectively and develop within the company
  • Have a professional mindset and excellent communication skills
