A financial service company in the SME corporate lending space providing  flexible and tailored lending solutions that help business owners achieve their goals, are working with GRS to recruit a Customer Onboarding Officer for their newly established Cyprus office. The successful candidate will have a minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role. This is an excellent opportunity to join a highly successful UK based business as they grow their EU operation. MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Facilitate the onboarding process for new customers, ensuring all required documentation is collected and verified.
  • Coordinate with internal teams to ensure a seamless transition from the onboarding stage to active customer status.
  • Provide exceptional customer service and support during the onboarding process.
  • Review underwriting files received from brokers to ensure they meet our credit risk criteria.
  • Identify and resolve any discrepancies or missing information in the underwriting files.
  • Work closely with the credit risk team to address any issues and ensure files are in compliance with company policies.
  • Ensure all customer onboarding activities comply with regulatory requirements and company policies.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all customer interactions and documentation.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of onboarding policies and procedures.
  • Act as a liaison between brokers, customers, and internal teams to facilitate effective communication and collaboration.
  • Provide regular updates to stakeholders on the status of onboarding activities.
  • Address any customer concerns or inquiries in a timely and professional manner.
  • Identify opportunities to streamline and improve the onboarding process.
  • Participate in training and development programs to stay current with industry trends and best practices.
  • Contribute to the development of tools and resources to enhance the customer onboarding experience.
CANDIDATE PROFILE
  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, business administration, or a related field.
  • 2+ years of experience in customer onboarding, credit risk management, or a related role, preferably within the financial services industry.
  • Strong understanding of credit risk criteria and underwriting processes.
  • Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software.
  • Familiarity with regulatory requirements and compliance in the financial services industry is a plus.
