The candidate will be working in a dynamic, fast paced environment whilst maintaining the highest standard of good practice. The ideal must be able to work under pressure, must possess excellent interpersonal skills and have the ability to work as an effective member of a team and also independently.
MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILTIES
- Acquire, clean, and validate data from primary and secondary sources to ensure accuracy and reliability
- Apply statistical and analytical techniques to identify trends, patterns, and correlations across business functions
- Design and maintain interactive dashboards and reports using Power BI, Excel, and other Microsoft tools
- Present data insights clearly and effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Finance, Operations, Purchasing, Product Management, Marketing) to understand data needs and deliver tailored solutions
- Ensure data integrity and consistency across databases, data warehouses, local ERPs and reporting systems
- Participate in the project to implement SAP across European sites, particularly in data cleansing and transfer
- Enable self-service analytics by building intuitive tools that allow end users to interrogate data independently
- Leverage Microsoft Copilot and automation tools to streamline reporting and reduce repetitive tasks
- Continuously identify opportunities for process optimization and data-driven improvements
CANDIDATE PROFILE
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, economics, data science, statistics, or a related field.
- Proven experience in data analysis, business intelligence, and data-driven decision support across central business functions.
- Proficiency in Excel.
- Hands-on experience with Power BI, and Microsoft Copilot.
- Python, programming and SQL desirable.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex datasets.
- Excellent communication skills for presenting insights and engaging with stakeholders at all levels.
- Fluent in English, with strong written and verbal communication abilities.
- Skilled and experienced data analyst
- Highly self-motivated and self-managed with the ability to operate with a high degree of autonomy, good communicator
- Confidentiality, accuracy and timeliness of all professional work
- Excellent software user and administration skills
- Have a focus on value creation
- Detail-oriented, ability to multi-task and prioritize tasks with strict deadlines.
- Be able to network with several people and data owners in different business units
