On behalf of our client, a successful software company based in Limassol, GRS are seeking an Engineering Manager.  The successful candidate will have at least 2 years’ experience in a people management role and have a strong background in software development or IT related roles.  If you are interested in joining a thriving and modern team, then this is the job for you!  We look forward to receiving your CV for this Limassol based Engineering Management role.  
MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Advocate and advance agile and engineering practices
  • Develop individuals and the engineering team as a whole
  • Propose project and programme budgets
  • Hire and supervise staff
  • Propose new tools and continuously improve processes
  • Coordinate work with other managers and staff
  • Prepare reports on projects
  • Ensure the top-quality delivery from the engineering team
CANDIDATE PROFILE
  • Passionate to build engineers and engineering culture
  • Leader with team building, mentoring, and decision-making skills
  • Have strong communication, interpersonal, and conflict resolution skills
  • Unify different teams together, leading towards a common goal - globally across locations and time zones.
  • Have excellent spoken and written English communication skills
  • Have the ability to work on multiple projects in various stages, simultaneously
  • Have a strong background in software development
  • Have a minimum of 2 years’ experience in a people management role
  • University degree in computer science or related field would be considered an advantage
