An established Island-wide public utility company is looking for two experienced plant shift operators to join their organisation permanently to keep Cyprus’ vital water supply running! The company is well-organised and has on-site free training for the successful candidate. The work required is to take place at the Larnaca desalination plant on a 12 hour shift basis. MAIN DUTIES

Operating plant process units and equipment.

Manual data recording.

Monitoring plant equipment from various locations of the plant.

Sample collection and lab analyses.

Carrying out special tasks for improving plant operations using the PLC system in the Control Room
CANDIDATE PROFILE
-
Higher Education Diploma in technical/chemical or relevant field.

1 year experience of working in a similar industrial environment, preferably in production/process or chemical industries.

Must have manual and practical skills.

Be able to work with multi skilled technical Teams.

Be able to make decisions on own initiative.

Good Knowledge of English (spoken and written).

Flexible and adaptable to the needs of a 24/7 operating plant
