A shipping company that specializes in cruise line services is working with GRS to recruit an Entertainment Administration officer to join their team in Limassol. The successful candidate will have a minimum of 3 years in shipping, be fluent in English and educated in a business subject. MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Works in cooperation with Entertainment Recruiting, Casting and Travelling Managers – link between the Cyprus office and the Berlin office.
  • First point of contact for Entertainment Crew and their agents in preparation of documents
  • Keeps track of the entertainment employee pool, updating and verifying information
  • Takes over the responsibility of contract offers and contract booking of all entertainment employees MS fleet
  • Monitors rotation, communications contract changes, provides timely notification and handles administrative processing – including Documentation and Reporting
  • Handles fee negotiation, reimbursement requests, visa requirements, questions about flights, payslips or document requirements
  • Schedules and organizes feedback meetings and briefings
  • Occasionally undertakes business trips to the Berlin office or to the ships
  • Is aware, implements and complies to Company’s Integrated Management System (IMS)
  • Undertakes any task or duty assigned by the management
CANDIDATE PROFILE
  • Degree in a Business or Maritime subject
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in personnel management
  • Experience in working and interacting with performers, technicians and managers in the creative sector
  • Strong communication, people skills and understanding of service and customer orientation
  • Organizational strength, decision-making skills
  • Strong proficiency with computers, phones and office equipment
  • Mastery of Microsoft office suite (i.e. Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook) and working in a windows environment
  • General awareness ISO standards and GDPR requirements
  • Sharp written and verbal communication skills in English, including clean grammar
  • German language knowledge will be considered an advantage
  • Cypriot or EU citizen or must have a Work Permit to work in Cyprus
  • Cypriot or EU driving license
  • Knowledge of structures/operations of theaters /shows and understanding of creative work desirable
  • Knowledge of Vessel Management & Maritime Business desirable
  • Knowledge of required seafarers’ documentation desirable
  • Enthusiasm as well as willingness to travel
