DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Support month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing processes, ensuring accurate and timely financial information.

Assist with the preparation of management accounts, financial reports, and financial analysis.

Perform daily client money reconciliations, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulatory requirements.

Support external audit processes and liaise with auditors as required.

Maintain accurate financial records and ensure compliance with internal procedures and accounting standards.

Assist with borrower repayment processing, client transactions, and other finance operations.

Support budgeting, forecasting, cash flow monitoring, and ad hoc finance projects.

Identify opportunities to improve finance processes, controls, and reporting procedures.

Work closely with colleagues across the business to support effective financial operations.
CANDIDATE PROFILE

ACCA finalist, newly qualified accountant, or equivalent professional qualification.

Previous experience within an audit firm, professional services environment, or finance department.

Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.

Exposure to IFRS and financial statement preparation would be advantageous.

Strong analytical skills with excellent attention to detail.

Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel and accounting software.

Excellent organisational and time management skills.

Ability to work independently while also contributing effectively as part of a team.

Strong communication skills and a willingness to learn and develop.

SALARY AND BENEFITS
