The platform spans multiple regions and involves complex financial operations, including online payments processing and compliance with international tax regulations. MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Payment Gateway & Processor Management:

Manage relationships with payment gateways and acquiring banks/processors.

Verify and collect settlements from acquirers.

Handle chargebacks, disputes, and ensure accurate reconciliations.

Creator Payout Oversight:

Accounting & Financial Team Management:

Lead and manage the internal accounting team.
-
Ensure accurate financial reporting, reconciliation, and auditing processes.

Financial Strategy & Reporting:
-
Develop and implement financial strategies aligned with the organization’s goals.

Lead the budgeting and forecasting processes.
-
Prepare and present financial reports, including monthly, quarterly, and annual statements to the board of directors.

Analyse financial performance and provide insights to senior management and board of directors.

Tax Compliance & Optimization:

Collaborate with external tax software providers, corporate servicers and legal counsel.

Ensure accurate collection and payment of required taxes across various jurisdictions.

System Integration & Financial Accuracy:

Work closely with the technology and accounting teams to ensure that the internal system tracks user and creator payments and balances with full accuracy.

Ensure all transactions are properly recorded and accounted for in internal systems.

Payment Optimization & Acceptance Rate Maximization:
CANDIDATE PROFILE
-
10+ years in finance, with a strategic and accounting focus in a multi-jurisdictional, cross-border online business environment (e.g., casino, streaming, trading, marketplace, adult).

Extensive experience with online payment gateways, acquirers, processors, chargebacks, and disputes.

Strong knowledge of multi-jurisdictional tax requirements and compliance.
-
Experience leading finance and accounting teams.
-
Comfortable working with internal financial systems, integrating with payment processing platforms, and tracking user/creator balances.

Proven ability to optimize payment workflows to maximize acceptance rates and minimize transaction issues.

Experience with global payouts and financial disbursements.

Familiarity with external tax software solutions and legal tax structures for online businesses.

Experience in industries such as adult entertainment, online marketplaces, or related fields.
