On behalf of our client a well-established consultancy company aiding Financial Service and Gaming companies in fraud, risk, and compliance solutions GRS are seeking a GDPR Specialist. The successful candidate will possess strong GDPR knowledge and have excellent management and communication skills with a minimum of two years’ experience working in data protection compliance or another related field. MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
 
  • Act as the primary point of contact within the organization for members of staff, regulators, and any relevant public bodies on issues related to data protection
  • Ensure the company’s policies continue to be in accordance with GDPR and codes of practice
  • Evaluate the existing data protection framework and identify areas of improvement
  • In charge of training plans
  • Provide data protection advice and support members of staff
  • Inform and advise the Data Controller or Data Processor on all matters related to data protection
  • Promote a culture of data protection compliance across all units of the organization
  • Draft new and amend existing internal data protection policies, guidelines, and procedures, in consultation with key stakeholders
  • Proactively conduct audits to ensure compliance and address potential issues
  • Maintain records of all data processing activities carried out by the company
  • Serve as the point of contact between the company and the data protection authorities
 
CANDIDATE PROFILE
  • At least wo years of experience in a similar role, GDPR practitioner qualifications are considered to be an asset
  • Willingness to learn, possess a can-do attitude and be a part of a dynamic fast growing company
  • Liaise with internal departments on a daily basis, to resolve complaints and GDPR requests
  • Ability to identify compliance issues that require follow-up or investigation
  • Taking initiative and having the motivation to be able to work independently
  • Ability to maintain a flexible schedule to suit the business needs
  • Ability to work closely with other departments internally
  • Excellent communication and coordinating skills
  • Meticulous, takes initiative and possesses good organisational skills
  • Ability to meet deadlines
  • Ability to work well with others and be a team-player
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Office
