GRS recruitment are seeking a proactive, detail-oriented Corporate Finance Administrator with proficiency in German to join our dynamic finance team based in Malta. The successful candidate will play a key role in managing corporate finance operations, supporting financial reporting, assisting with audits, and ensuring compliance with financial regulations. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of financial systems and a keen eye for detail, alongside strong communication skills in both English and German.
 
MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILTIES 
  • Financial Administration: Assist with the preparation and maintenance of financial records, including but not limited to accounts payable/receivable, invoicing, and payments.
  • Reporting: Support in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, ensuring compliance with corporate policies and financial regulations.
  • German Language Support: Provide financial and administrative support for German-speaking clients, stakeholders, or subsidiaries, ensuring clear and accurate communication.
  • Reconciliations: Perform regular bank and financial account reconciliations, ensuring discrepancies are resolved promptly.
  • Compliance: Assist in ensuring compliance with local and international financial regulations, including tax laws, financial reporting standards, and corporate governance practices.
  • Financial Analysis: Support the team in financial analysis, preparing data and reports for management decision-making.
  • Document Management: Ensure proper documentation and filing of financial records, including maintaining accurate records of contracts, agreements, and other finance-related documents.
  • Client Interaction: Communicate with German-speaking clients or partners regarding financial matters, queries, or support, ensuring high levels of service.
  • Support the Corporate Finance Team: Assist senior finance team members with any ad hoc tasks or projects as needed.
CANDIDATE PROFILE 
  • Fluent in both German and English (written and spoken) is essential.
  •  A degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred.
  • Previous experience in corporate finance, accounting, or administration is an advantage.
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel (including advanced functions), financial systems, and accounting software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, etc.).
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks while maintaining a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact confidently with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Ability to work under pressure, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  •  Ability to work collaboratively within a team and demonstrate initiative.
  • Experience with German-speaking markets or clients.
  • Knowledge of Malta's local finance regulations and tax laws is a plus.
  • Previous experience in a multinational corporate environment would be an advantage.
