Our client a fast-growing, performance-oriented digital marketing and technology organisation is seeking a proactive Google Ads Specialist to join their marketing team. This role is ideal for someone with hands-on experience in Google Ads and a passion for optimising paid search to deliver measurable results and business growth.
 
MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Own the planning, setup, and optimisation of Google Search campaigns to deliver high-quality traffic and ROI.
  • Conduct keyword research, competitor analysis, and target audience to uncover opportunities for growth.
  • Build and maintain campaign structures that are scalable, organised, and effective.
  • Analyse campaign performance and refine strategies to maximise results.
  • Write and optimise ad copy to improve CTR, relevance, and conversion performance.
  • Run A/B tests on ads, landing pages, and other elements to drive continuous improvement.
  • Perform campaign audits, troubleshoot issues, and implement solutions to boost performance.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align paid search activity with broader marketing goals.
  • Stay up to date with Google Ads updates, best practices, and industry trends to bring fresh strategic insights.
CANDIDATE PROFILE
  • Minimum 1+ years’ hands-on experience managing Google Ads campaigns (additional experience is a strong advantage).
  • BSc/MSc in Business, Marketing, Media, Communications, Management, or related discipline.
  • Google Ads Certification(s) (Search / Measurement) is a plus.
  • Strong familiarity with the Google Ads platform, reporting dashboards, and campaign workflows.
  • Experience with GTM, GA4, conversion tracking, and performance measurement.
  • Familiarity with automation and bulk tools (e.g., Ads Scripts, Ads Editor) is advantageous.
  • Understanding of other campaign types (Display, Shopping, Performance Max, YouTube, Remarketing).
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with strong attention to detail.
  • Advanced Excel / Google Sheets skills (pivot tables, query formulas, macros).
  • Excellent English communication skills (written and verbal).
