Our client a fast‑growing digital services and technology organisation is seeking a UI/UX Specialist to help define and elevate user experiences for a range of web and mobile products. This role is ideal for a design professional who combines user‑centred thinking, creativity, and attention to detail to deliver intuitive interfaces that delight customers.
 
MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Design intuitive, user‑centric interfaces for web and mobile applications that enhance usability and engagement.
  • Create wireframes, user flows, prototypes, and high‑fidelity designs that communicate ideas clearly and effectively.
  • Collaborate closely with product teams and developers to ensure designs are executed to a high standard from concept to launch.
  • Conduct and analyse user research and usability testing to inform data‑backed design decisions.
  • Participate in design reviews and iterate quickly based on feedback, continuously driving quality and improvement.
  • Contribute to and maintain a cohesive design system to ensure consistency across products.
  • Stay up to date with emerging UI/UX trends, tools, and methodologies to bring fresh ideas to the team.
CANDIDATE PROFILE
  • Bachelor’s degree in Design, Human‑Computer Interaction (HCI), or a related field, or equivalent hands‑on experience.
  • 2–4+ years’ experience in UI/UX design or a similar role.
  • Proven experience designing user‑optimised interfaces for web and mobile products; experience with paid or subscription‑based products is a plus.
  • Strong proficiency with Figma (experience with Sketch, Adobe XD or similar tools is beneficial).
  • Solid understanding of user‑centred design principles, responsive design, and accessibility best practices.
  • Experience conducting user research and usability studies, with the ability to translate insights into actionable design decisions.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to articulate design rationale effectively.
  • Comfortable working in an agile, fast‑paced environment with cross‑functional teams.
  • Strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and a proactive, problem‑solving approach.
  • Excellent command of the English language, both written and verbal; additional languages are an advantage.
