GRS are working closely with a newly established fund management company. For their team in Nicosia, we are currently seeking to recruit an experienced candidate for the role of Head of AML and Regulatory Compliance. The successful candidate must have 3-5 years of experience in a similar role and excellent communication skills. MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Responsible for the regulatory compliance reporting for the AIFM and the AIFs under management.
  • Inform the Board of Directors and the Executive Management of the Company of regulatory compliance issues, and any significant deficiencies in the fulfillment of its obligations.
  • Ensures that Company policies and procedures are current and reflect the regulatory obligations in force and prepares and recommends revisions as appropriate.
  • Responsible of all the personal data compliance requirements (GDPR) for both the AIFM and AIFs under management.
  • Overview and monitor the Anti-Money Laundering processes and procedures and make sure the company’s AML policy corresponds to the highest standards applicable; other responsibilities include investors onboarding and customer due diligence, screening and monitoring of counterparties etc.
  •  and any other related legal work of the underlying operations.
CANDIDATE PROFILE
  • University graduate in Law
  • 3-5 years of experience in compliance within a regulated business
  • Knowledge of and adherence with all the regulatory developments related to the industry of AIFMs/AIFs
  • Fluency in English language at a professional level
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Attention to detail
  • Able to meet deadlines
