On behalf of our client, a Limassol-based AIFM which specialises on publicly traded securities and pursues hedge fund strategies, GRS are looking for a Head of Compliance. The successful candidate will have at least 5 years’ experience in a relevant role and be both AML and CySEC advanced qualified. MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Coverage of both AML and Regulatory Compliance Functions

Managing day-to-day operations of the AML/CFT and Regulatory Compliance, including regular monitoring and assessment of the effective implementation of the internal policies and procedures

Provide advice and guidance to the Company’s Board of Directors and employees on the applicable laws, rules and regulations including AML/CFT

Ensuring compliance with laws, regulations and directives issued by CySEC and EU regulators

Implementation of the procedures described in the Company’s Procedures Manual

Communication with regulatory bodies

Responsibility to review and update (if needed) all Policies and Procedures of the Company on an annual basis

Performing in-depth analysis of various corporate structures (trusts, funds, etc.) on a risk-approach basis
CANDIDATE PROFILE

Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience

CySEC Advanced and AML Examination

Excellent communication skills in English (both written and oral); Fluency in Russian

Knowledge of legal requirements and controls

Familiarity with industry practices and professional standards

Profound knowledge and expertise in various corporate structures (trusts, funds, etc.) is a plus

Analytical thinking and strong attention to details
