GRS Recruitment are working on behalf of a small, yet well-established CySEC-regulated investment firm based in Limassol, we are seeking a highly experienced Head of Compliance & AMLCO to oversee all aspects of regulatory compliance and anti-money laundering within the business. This is a key leadership role, offering the opportunity to shape compliance culture, ensure adherence to legal and regulatory frameworks, and act as the main point of contact with the Regulator. MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONISIBILITIES

Ensure continuous compliance of the Company with applicable legislation and CySEC regulatory requirements

Monitor internal policies, procedures, and controls related to the Prevention and Suppression of Money Laundering and Terrorist Financing Law (AML Law)

Draft, review, and update internal compliance and AML policies in line with current regulations

Oversee and ensure timely and accurate regulatory reporting to CySEC and other authorities

Prepare and submit the Annual Compliance Officer Report and the AMLCO Report

Act as the main liaison between the firm and CySEC, including managing all regulatory correspondence

Prepare the firm for internal audits, inspections, and regulatory reviews

Provide ongoing advice and support to senior management on compliance-related issues

Conduct regular compliance monitoring and risk assessments

Ensure proper training and awareness of regulatory obligations within the company

Carry out any other related duties necessary for the effective operation of the Compliance function
CANDIDATE PROFILE

CySEC Advanced Certificate and AML Certification are essential

A minimum of 4 years’ experience in a similar Compliance and/or AML role within a CySEC-regulated investment firm

In-depth knowledge of CySEC regulations, MiFID II, AML directives, and relevant EU legislation

Must hold both the CySEC advanced certificate and CySEC AML Certificate

Strong understanding of reporting obligations and regulatory communication practices

Excellent organisational, analytical, and communication skills

Ability to work independently in a small team environment and take ownership of the Compliance function

Fluent in English (Greek is an advantage)
