A global Medical Consultancy company which provides Air Ambulance / aeromedical services is looking for a Head of Emergency Dispatcher to provide assistance and support to the Alarm Centre. The selected candidate will report to the CEO and will manage the provision of Company's Assistance Services and take overall responsibility for all non-clinical aspects of the Company’s Assistance operations. MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • A reliable contact point for clients to provide them with information on services and recommend possible solutions.
  • Responsible for the set-up and efficient running of the Alarm Centre.
  • Monitor the performance and productivity of team members and take appropriate actions.
  • Responsible for the efficient running of Air Ambulance bases.
  • Responsible for selection, evaluation and approval of third-party air ambulance providers worldwide, including their ongoing management.
  • Analyse the Business Processes required to deliver the services and ensure that the Company leverages technology to improve efficiencies and quality of services.
  • Development of procedures and training and mentoring of staff.
    Development of Resource and Staffing plans and ensuring that sufficient resources are in place to provide the services required.
  • Development of Business Development plans and overall responsibility for Business Development of the Company’s Assistance Services, including issuing of quotations, proposals and tender preparation.
  • Lead the accreditation process and maintain accreditation.
    Provide support to the Alarm Centre during medical evacuations and complex missions.
  • Troubleshooting – identifying problems, suggesting solutions and following up to resolution.
  • Perform other duties as may be required from time to time for the proper operation of the business within the limit of the person’s capabilities.
CANDIDATE PROFILE
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
  •  Leadership skills.
  •  Minimum of 5 years’ management experience.
  •  Proven track record of managing complex operations/missions.
  •  Proven ability to work in a Business Development/Client facing position.
  •  Good organisational skills and ability to prioritise the workload.
  •  Demonstrates effective problem-solving skills.
  •  Excellent knowledge in Microsoft office; Word and excel.
  • Ability to work in a team and individually.
  •  Time management skills.
  •  Attention to detail and focus oriented.
  •  Takes ownership of assignments.
