On behalf of our client, a well-established Technology provider, GRS, are seeking to recruit Helpdesk Engineer to be based in Nicosia. If you have the necessary skills and experience, then GRS are looking forward to receiving your CV for this Nicosia based Helpdesk role.
MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Serving as the first point of contact for customers seeking technical assistance over the phone or email.
  • Providing technical assistance and support for incoming queries and issues related to computer systems, software, and hardware.
  • Running diagnostic programs to resolve problems.
  • Providing accurate feedback to the rest of the Team with regards to customer requirements and required changes.
  • Troubleshooting malfunctions of systems, network hardware and security systems to resolve operational issues and restore services and being able to accurately diagnose root cause.
  • Directing unresolved issues to the next level of support personnel.
  • Following up with customers to ensure issues have been resolved.
  • Recording events, problems, and their resolution in logs.
  • Passing on any feedback or suggestions by customers to the appropriate internal Team.
  • Completing other duties as assigned by management.
CANDIDATE PROFILE
  • At least 2 years of relevant experience
  • University degree in Computer Science/ Computer engineering or a related field.
  • Proven work experience as a Technical Support Engineer, IT Help Desk Technician, or similar role.
  • Sound knowledge and understanding of Systems and Networking.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Fluency in both Greek and English.
