A leading Gaming solutions firm is searching for an HR Generalist to join their team in Malta. You will report directly to the HR Director and serve as a key liaison between on-site/hybrid employees, remote contractors and department leaders, helping to cultivate a positive workplace culture while ensuring HR operations seamlessly. The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years’ experience in an HR generalist or similar role and be proficient in HRIS and payroll systems. MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Manage end-to-end recruitment, from job postings to interviews to offer letters.

Partner with hiring managers to define hiring needs and align candidates to business goals.

Lead onboarding and orientation sessions to ensure new hires feel welcomed and aligned from day one.

Draft employment contracts and ensure smooth pre-employment and onboarding documentation.

Act as the go-to contact for employee/contractor questions, concerns, and conflict resolution.

Cultivate a transparent and positive work environment through regular feedback

Support managers with performance management, coaching, and development planning.

Lead initiatives that promote employee engagement, recognition, and satisfaction.

Maintain up-to-date employee records and support HRIS data integrity.

Draft and revise internal HR policies to ensure compliance with Maltese employment laws.

Handle work permits, employee benefits and entitlements, as well as off-boarding procedures,

Manage approval for new and renewal requests for existing contractor/umbrella agreements in collaboration with Legal as appropriate

Ensure accurate monthly payroll processing in partnership with the external payroll provider and internal documentation.

Manage benefits enrolment, adjustments, and communications.

Ensure all compensation activities align with legal standards and company policies.

Stay informed on local employment laws and ensure company compliance.

Maintain audit-ready records.

Partner with leadership to develop and roll out training initiatives.

Help employees identify growth paths aligned with business goals.

Assist with internal communications and culture-shaping activities.

Support strategic planning and organizational change efforts.

Serve as a trusted partner in promoting alignment between people and business strategies.
CANDIDATE PROFILE

At least 5 years’ experience in an HR generalist or similar role.

Knowledge of Maltese employment laws and HR compliance standards.

Proficiency in HRIS platforms and payroll systems.

Fluent in English.

Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

High integrity and ability to handle confidential information.
