DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Strategic HR Leadership:

Aligns HR strategies with overall organisational goals.

Policy, Law & Governance:

Demonstrates a deep understanding of HR policies, procedures, and Maltese employment law.

Collaborates with internal and external stakeholders to uphold governance standards and manage risk.
Technology & Analytics:

Analytical and tech-savvy, leveraging HR analytics and systems for decision-making.

Demonstrated experience working with Shireburn Indigo software and a thorough understanding of the payroll process.

Proficient in HRIS and ATS platforms to streamline HR operations and reporting.

Ensures accurate, timely reporting and audit readiness through data integrity and system optimisation.

Monitors key HR metrics and KPIs to evaluate effectiveness and drive continuous improvement.
Stakeholder Engagement & Influence:
-
Builds trusted relationships with Partners, Directors and employees.
-
Advises and influences stakeholders on complex HR matters with confidence and credibility.

Represents HR in cross-functional forums and contributes to strategic decision-making.
-
Communicates with clarity, empathy, and emotional intelligence to support collaboration and alignment.

Performs any other duties that may be required from time to time, contributing to the overall efficiency of the finance team.
CANDIDATE PROFILE
-
A degree (MQF Level 6) in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology or a related discipline.
-
Completion of an Employment Law course (MQF Level 5) is highly desirable.

Minimum 3 years’ experience in a senior HR role, with responsibilities aligned to an Assistant Manager or Lead level.

Proven track record in strategic HR planning, employee relations, and organisational development.

Experience in managing change programmes, talent development, and HR compliance.

Familiarity with HR systems, payroll processes, and data-driven decision-making.
-
Strong understanding of employment law, HR policies, and governance frameworks.

Proficient in MS Office, particularly Excel, and experienced with HR software.

Demonstrated experience working with Shireburn Indigo software and a thorough understanding of the payroll process.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration across teams and stakeholders.
