Our client, a reputable accounting firm based in Malta, is seeking to appoint a dedicated HR Officer and play a key role in fostering a positive, supportive and people‑centred workplace. MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBITLIES
  • Keep up-to-date online records for all employees and candidates.
  • Prepare the necessary data inputs and outputs for various HR administrative processes, using established templates and methodologies, but also recommending improvements.
  • Ensure documents required by employees as part of their onboarding process, are provided on time and any necessary records are updated.
  • Liaise with candidates and respective stakeholders in relation to the attainment of relevant work permits and visas.
  • Provide assistance and support as required for the day-to-day HR-related requirements including scheduling of interviews & other HR meetings with staff, drafting contracts and other HR related documents.
  • Support payroll and leave administration.
  • Attend recruitment events as required.
  • Ensure that any employee and candidate data held is in line with GDPR regulations.
  • Respond to employee queries and escalate as needed.
CANDIDATE PROFILE
  • Have an MQF Level 4 qualification or better in a relevant field.
  • Have 2-4 years’ experience in HR, Talent Acquisition or Administration.
  • Have a basic understanding of employment law, HR and payroll principles and the ability to apply and follow such.
  • Have a good command of English.
  • Be skilled in the use of Office productivity suite and of relevant HR Information Systems.
