Assists in the maintenance of the integrated management system (IMS) combining various management systems e.g., quality, environmental, occupational health, and safety, into a single, overall comprehensive, and harmonized management system.

Develops the Company’s Operations and Policy Manuals in liaison with the Management.

Develops the Company’s Policies, Strategies, and forms in liaison with the Management.

Communicates the various Policies and other documentation to staff.

Monitors, supervises, and ensures the day-to-day implementation and management of the IMS.

Monitors and supervises the implementation of the supporting procedures of the IMS.
-
Keeps informed about laws and regulations affecting Company’s operations and notifies staff and management accordingly.

Keeps management updated in relation to the performance of the IMS and its needs for improvement.

Keeps staff updated about the IMS and the way it is implemented.

Communicates with external parties such as the Certification Body for issues concerning the IMS.

Assists with the handling of legal/compliance matters relevant to company’s operations.

Assists, supports, and advises management on various matters at hand.
-
Supports and advises on the handling of various crew/employees related cases and claims.
-
Cooperates with the Department Heads and assists them with any compliance issues faced.

Acts as the company’s liaison officer with various Government Ministries, Departments or Agencies.

Communicates and maintains relationships with various 3rd parties.

Communicates and informs other locations of the Group, when and if required.

Works closely with the company’s lawyers in Cyprus, Malta, Germany, and Switzerland.

Collaborates on projects by conducting research, writing and fact-checking.

Prepares information packages for meetings and presentations.

Prepares various reports and presentations.

Plans, supervises, and sees to the implementation of IMS Internal Audits and their documentation.

Plans, coordinates, prepares the agenda, and keeps Minutes for the Management Review of the IMS.

Coordinates, issues, and presents the Key Performance Indicators of the IMS during management reviews.

Responsible for preparation of the IMS for the external audits.

Degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, Law, Shipping, and/or Management

Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar position

Good understanding of ISO 9001, 14001 and 45001 standards

Good understanding of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR)

Excellent Computer Skills (Windows environment, Microsoft Word, Excel, Internet)

Excellent command of the English and Greek language (both written and oral)

ISO Awareness and or Internal Audit Certificates in ISO 9001:2015, 14001:2015, ISO 45001:2018, ISO 26001:2010 will be considered an advantage.

Willingness to work overtime, and on weekends with short notice
