Join our client, a reputable Wealth Management company based in Malta, as an Investment Operations Associate. A key role within the Investment Operations team has arisen at Investors Europe (Malta) Ltd and the wider group of which it is part. The successful candidate will support the oversight and adoption of end-to-end investment operations, including post trade processing, reconciliations, corporate actions, cash movements, account administration and co-ordination with counterparties.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Support the processing of clients' FX and securities trades, including trade allocations, settlement instructions, and confirmations using internal systems.

Assist with opening and closing client accounts in the back-office system

Help process stock transfers between custodians and brokers

Process client cash transactions within banking platforms and internal accounting systems

Assist in handling corporate actions under the guidance of senior team members
-
Monitor transaction processing and follow up with counterparties to help ensure timely and accurate bookings

Serve as the first point of contact for queries or issues related to transactions on clients’ accounts

Conduct daily reconciliations and ad hoc reconciliations of data produced by Investment Operations team

Maintain operational procedures and update accordingly

Respond to routine operational queries and escalate more complex issues when required

Perform daily reconciliations and investigate discrepancies with support from the team

Maintain operational records and assist with updating procedures and documentation.

Assist in preparing data for regulatory reporting.

Carry out other administrative and operational tasks as assigned by the Head of Operations

Minimum 1 years’ experience in Investment Operations or relevant field

A degree in Finance, IT, Business Administration or related field

Experience gained in international financial services, account management, payments or banking operations would be advantageous.
SALARY AND BENEFITS

€30,000 - €35,000 Gross Per Annum
