A leading Investment firm is searching for an Investment Advisor to join their team in Malta. Your primary role will be resident within the client management team where you will be responsible for a number of Discretionary, Advisory and Execution-Only clients. The ideal candidate will have experience in a similar role and have excellent level of English. MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Communicate investment ideas which are identified by the firm to the appropriate clients in accordance with the investment mandate given to us by the client in terms of risk and return

Regularly review discretionary and advisory portfolios to ensure that the investments held are in line with the respective investment parameters

Communicate any necessary changes in structure to either reflect changes in market conditions or changes in the client’s investment profile

Prepare investment recommendations for new clients

Handle a number of execution-only clients
-
Identify opportunities to grow your client base through networking and investment presentations to prospective clients

From time to time, you will also be required to trade on the Malta Stock Exchange.
CANDIDATE PROFILE

Stay updated with the firm’s latest thinking in terms of investment ideas and asset allocations

Keep yourself updated by reading various chronicles and articles

Attend the firm’s investment committee meeting which is held on a weekly basis during which your opinion and ideas are expected to be heard

Have the initiative to maintain a certain level of discipline and organisation to ensure that you are always on top of your role and responsibilities

Undergo a training program in order to trade on the Malta Stock Exchange.
